Setting priorities during onboarding
Say what leadership is trying to achieve while you are still setting up.
Last updated September 22, 2026
Onboarding asks what your leadership is trying to achieve this year. It is easy to skip and worth two minutes.
Why it is asked here
Stating your priorities early changes what the platform shows you afterwards. Your first brief leads with whether your capabilities support those outcomes, rather than with a score nobody asked for. It also means your first board conversation has something in it the board recognizes.
What to put
Two or three outcomes leadership genuinely cares about this year, in their words. A compliance deadline, a market you are entering, a deal that depends on a security review. There is a catalog of common ones to start from.
You can do it later
If you skip it, priorities can be set at any time from Board Alignment and the brief fills in from there. See Setting your priorities.
