Benchmark participation

Peer benchmarking compares your organization against others in the same sector and size band. Participation is on by default and an owner can change it at any time from Settings.

What is shared

Organization-level measurements: capability maturity and product pricing, aggregated into cohort figures. No document, no assessment note, no board priority and nothing identifying your organization ever enters a pool. Board Alignment data is excluded entirely.

What you see

Cohort aggregates, never another organization's data. A cohort has to reach a minimum number of participants before any figure is shown at all, so no individual organization can be inferred from the result. Until that threshold is reached you will see that there are not yet enough peers, rather than a number built on too few.

Leaving

Turning participation off stops future contribution and withdraws what you have already contributed, in the same operation. It is not merely a switch for new data.

Why the default is on

A benchmark is only useful at density, and a cohort with three participants tells nobody anything. The default reflects that, and the controls above are what make it defensible: a minimum cohort size, organization-level data only, and one click to leave.
