The Team surface

Team is where you manage members, assign roles and domains, and see each person's progress and contribution.

The Team surface is where you run the people side of your program: who is in the workspace, what they can do, which domains they own, and how they are contributing.

Members and roles

Each member has a role that controls their access: Owner, Admin, Manager, Contributor, or Viewer. You can change a member's role, and the change applies immediately. New people default to Contributor. See Roles and permissions for what each role can do.

Domain ownership

Assigning domains to the people who own them is what keeps a CAMP assessment accurate. Team shows which domains each member owns and lets you assign or reassign them, so the cloud team answers Cloud Security and the identity team answers Identity and Access Management.

Invitations and progress

You invite teammates from here, track pending invites and their expiry, and revoke any that are no longer needed. For each member you can also see progress: how many of their assigned domains are complete and how many capabilities they have filled in.

Managing roles is a security control, not just administration. Your assessment data describes where you are weakest, so keep access matched to responsibility and review it when people change teams.

How a member's contribution is measured, and why it is recognition rather than a leaderboard, is covered in Roles and contribution.
